Japanese businesses may jumpstart in Gujarat

Japan has been long looking to find a solid business destination for furthering its business interests. You'd have noticed that Japan has been a partner country in last 2 Vibrant Gujarat Summits. Gujarat scores big time in all Indian states in terms of investment climate.  We are growing in all sectors and there is a huge flow of capital and investment pouring in Gujarat from other state entrepreneurs as well as from foreign businesses.

USA is yet to catch up.  US policy to be negative against Narendra Modi may hurt it in the long run. There may be valid reasons for not giving Narendra Modi US Visa but if that means ignoring Gujarat's investment climate, it would be very wrong in interest of US.

Japan had a massive earthquake last week, followed by Tsunami and then nuclear reactors catching fires. Gujarat after earthquake has built huge infrastructure and today Bhuj, Kandla are the best place to do business in Gujarat.  There are many Japanese who have helped Indian's to evacuate Japan. Many have paid for the tickets out of their own pockets to see Indians home.

One thing we must do is take 1 step further - 'Let us go to Japanese people, embrace them and give them home in Gujarat'. They are simply brilliant. There loyalty to enterprise is unparalleled and their quest for quality will make us all proud to have them here.

Years ago, Gujarat embraced Parsis and today they are one of the most affluent people in India. Let us bring top talent people. Japanese are really looking to settle elsewhere.. why not Gujarat? We have everything they need  - business climate, safety, security, stable government and fantastic infrastructure.
